AARP Tax Preparation

Free income tax assistance and preparation will be available at the Senior Activity Center by volunteers of the Tax-Aide program on Wednesdays & Thursdays during February, March, and April of 2018. Tax returns will be filed electronically for you and you will receive a copy of your federal and state income tax returns to keep for your records.

Tax-Aide is jointly sponsored by the AARP and the IRS. It is intended for low and moderate income taxpayers-with special attention to those age 60 and older-who most need tax assistance and cannot afford the services of a paid preparer. If your taxes are complicated and will require more time than our 45-minute appointment allows, we ask that you do not use our tax service so that we may better serve needier taxpayers.

The Senior Activity Center will begin scheduling appointments on Monday, January 15, 2018. These are on a first-come, first-served basis. Please call 920-459-3290 to make your appointment. You should bring a copy of last year’s tax return to your appointment as well as all required 2017 documentation including:
